TriplePoint client Tactile Entertainment has announced the launch of a new update for Pocket Creatures on the iPhone and iPad. The update sees the introduction of a new mini-game to the pet simulation game.

The mini-game is called “Bug Control,” and it is a line-drawing game of sorts, that takes inspiration from the most popular line-drawing games currently available on the App Store. This is the third update Pocket Creatures has received since it launched in May, and is but one of many more updates that Tactile has planned for the game in the future.

This update also sees the app updated for compatibility with iOS 4, including higher resolution for the iPhone 4 retina display, and a new pair of sunglasses available for your creature that are inspired by the Fonz from Happy Days.

Pocket Creatures is currently available on the iPhone and iPad for $2.99. Head over to the App Store to purchase it. Pocket
