Over the weekend, we brought you news of a small new event Playfish had decided to run via the Restaurant City fan page on Facebook, that asked players to “Like” a certain post. If 200,000 users did so within a 24 hour period, we would receive a free Cacti Jose for our restaurants (that’s a decorative item that was released along with last week’s Cinco de Mayo theme of items).
Unfortunately, the total fell well short of the 200,000 marker. However, we’re not walking away empty handed, as Playfish has decided to reward users for trying by giving them a free bag of 1,000 coins. This promotion works in the same was as free ingredient releases, meaning that all you have to do to receive your bag of free coins is click on this link.
