Playdom is continuing to expand its offerings on Facebook with a purchase of Offbeat Creations. Playdom has already purchased Green Patch and Trippert Labs already which cemented Playdom’s intentions as far as social gaming on Facebook.

Joining Playdom’s impressive lineup will be Offbeat’s Super Farkle. Super Farkle is played by over two million unique Facebook users every month. Playdom already owns Sorority Life, Mobsters 2, Lil Farm Life, Tiki Farm, Tiki Resort, Wild Ones and Poker Palace.

The CEO of Playdom seemed excited about the move. “With this acquisition we are bringing a talented new game studio into the Playdom family with a very exciting game pipeline,” CEO John Pleasants remarked on the move. The current Offbeat leaders will be placed in leadership positions at Playdom as well.

The founder of Playdom Chia Chin Lee, “We are very excited to be joining the Playdom family, we believe that together we can create the best possible games and player experiences.”

On top of this news, Playdom has also announced the addition of Social City. Social City is a new SimCity-esque game where its your duty as a mayor to make the citizens happy and make your city thrive as much as possible. I am not a big Facebook guru but this does intrigue me.
