FarmVille for the iPhone officially launched a few days ago, and if you’ve yet to download the application to your phone, a few exclusive in-game items might be enough to persuade you.
The first item is found on the free gifts page, and functions similarly to those items that are “Farmville.com” exclusives, in that the only way you’ll be able to send it to your friends is by installing the iPhone app and sending it from there. The item is the White Apple Tree (Get it? Apple? iPhone? Clever Zynga).
The other item is the Snow Leopard, and it is available to purchase via the Animals tab of the marketplace. This is another pun, considering that Snow Leopard is the name of the Mac’s current operating system. Once you download the app, you’ll find that you can purchase the Snow Leopard for 50,000 coins.
Also available in the store, the Rainbow Apple tree can be purchased for 500 coins. The rainbow here of course being in reference to Apple’s old logo.
Are these items enough to make you want to download the FarmVille iPhone app? Keep in mind that it is free, so even if you didn’t want to use it later, at least head over to iTunes long enough to get these three items, before calling it quits on your mobile farming adventures.
