PetVille, Social

Alrighty PetVille players, this is the third time in 3 days we’ve reported on new weekly challenges. If you haven’t checked your challenges box in a while, you’d better get busy!

There are currently a whopping total of 5 challenges available, but 2 new challenges were just added today: “Berry Berry Blueberry” and “Pirate Treasure”. The exisiting challenges include “Animal Rescuer!“, “Sherlock Pet” and “Luck of the Irish“.

You have less than 7 days to complete the 2 new weekly challenges, which will have you serving up blueberry kibble and finding hidden treasure in your PetVille neighbors’ houses. This week’s challenges include:

Berry Berry Blueberry – Collect 5 gems from feeding your pet blueberry kibble. Click on the gem after your pet finishes the food to earn this badge! Blueberry kibble costs 75 Coins, lasts 8 hours and earns you a bonus of 275 Coins and 35 Love Points. Click on your pet’s bowl and select Blueberry to serve up this dish.

Pirate Treasure – Find 1 Pet Cash in a trunk in your neighbor’s house. (Look for 1 Pet Cash in a trunk in one of your neighbor’s houses.) Click on it to claim your Pet Cash and win the challenge! The more neighbors you have, the more quickly you will be able to complete this challenge. While the PetVille backyards update is looming (much like the FarmVille dogs), hurry up and complete some of these challenges so you’ll have plenty of Coins to spend on your pet’s new yard! Zynga also said yesterday that accessories are coming soon to PetVille – so now players have another good reason to earn badges and save Coins.

Speaking of backyards, dogs and accessories – all we know is that they’re coming, they will be big (updates), and no one knows when (except Zynga, and they aren’t saying). Stay tuned and let us know what you think about all the PetVille preview teasers while you wait!

are the trunks always located in the first room of your neighbors home? or must you search all the rooms for it???

I can't say for sure, but all the treasure chests I've found (~30 or
so) have been in the first room.
