Palm Wants 3D Games for their Phones

Wed, Mar 17, 2010

Palm is finally making a move towards gaming on its line of Palm Smartphones, much like the Android phones and iPhones have been moving towards for at least a year now. With the new Palm Plug-in developer kit, Palm has high hopes of being able to bring plenty of games to the WebOS platform.

Joe Hayashi has been saying that there are plenty of games available already for the WebOS platform even though their app store didn’t technically open its doors until January. Over 2,000 apps available in the store are games and that number will only increase as more developers look into and master the plug-in development kit. Big names such as Epic and EA have already jumped on board and I would expect even more to jump on fairly soon.
