This week’s theme in Pet Society will be one that is a bit familiar to those players that also play Playfish’s Restaurant City, as a similar theme passed through that game a couple of weeks ago. Here in Pet Society, this week’s theme is Fast Food, and sees all sorts of themed objects available in multiple stores within the game.
The theme officially starts in the game’s Mystery Store, where you can purchase a “Build-a-Burger Mystery Egg” from the egg machine there. You can buy a single egg for 200 coins, 5 eggs for 800 coins or 13 eggs for 2000 coins. You can also buy these items for yourself or send them as a gift to a friend. What’s inside? As we can see from the picture that accompanies the egg machine, you’ll find pieces to build your very own Hamburger, much like the Easter event machines let us receive parts to decorate our own Easter Egg, for those that are familiar with the comparison.
Next, the game’s Furniture Store, specifically the Kitchen and Bathroom section has been outfitted with some diner and restaurant themed furniture, including a cash register and counter and two tables – one with stools sitting up against a wall with a window backdrop, and the other with four swivel stools.
While not entirely “fast food” in nature, another set of items is available in the Kitchen store that will have you building a fancy kitchen, complete with cabinets, appliances, counters, and utensils.
Moving onto the game’s Market, we see a single item, in the form of a Fast Food Takeaway Menu, which costs 750 coins, and serves as a sort of “fast food” drive-thru menu. That is, you’ll be able to purchase either the drink, hamburger or fries from the board whenever you pet needs a quick pick-me-up in terms of energy and happiness at a cost of 50 coins. What’s more – your friends who visit your home will be able to buy drinks for their own pets as well.
In the game’s clothing store, you’ll find two outfits for little girl pets – a Blue Apron Outfit for 300 coins, and a Strawberry inspired chef’s outfit for 1,000 coins – and two outfits for boy pets – a red version of the strawberry chef’s outfit for 800 coins, and a Chef’s Uniform or Hat available for 300 and 200 coins, respectively.
Finally, in the D.I.Y. Shop, you can pick up four different kinds of themed wallpaper, along with two flooring options.
Remember, some of these items – like the Takeaway Menu – will only be available to purchase in the game for the next week. That being the case, be sure to head over to the game’s page sooner, rather than later, to get your hands on any that you are interested in adding to your own home.
