OpenFeint Launches for Android, 20 Supported Games Announced

Today marks big news in the Android gaming world, as OpenFeint officially launches for the platform today. Along with the launch of OpenFeint, there will be a plethora of new titles available that include many that were already hits on iOS.

OpenFeint is an open social networking platform for mobile games. On iOS, the platform already has 3,000 games and likely millions of players. Being an open platform, OpenFeint titles can be cross-platform compatible meaning an Android player can challenge his iPhone owning friend and vise versa.

The games that are being announced include iOS hits such as dot from ustwo, Fruit Ninja from Halfbrick Studios, MiniSquadron from Supermono, Super Slyder from Sandlot Games, The Moron Test from DistinctDev, Inc. and Tic Tac Toe from Posimotion. The full list of titles set to launch within the next month is below:

Along with the announcement of games, AuroraFeint is also launching the Feint Spotlight app for Android. With so many new titles looking to launch with OpenFeint, this app should help you discover new games that are just right for you.
