Nyko is Tired of Vitas Being So Portable

Handheld, Mobile

Damned PlayStation Vitas. They’re rotting our brains wherever we are, by delivering “console-caliber gameplay on the go,” and it’s about time somebody did something about it. Thankfully, TriplePoint client Nyko is here with a solution: the Speaker Stand for PS Vita, a helpful anchor that ensures your Vita will have to stay in one place. Well, to be fair, it’s also a dedicated charging station for your Vita, which also functions as a powered stereo speaker set, allowing you to enjoy music and movies with extremely awesome sound while the device is charging. I guess Nyko is actually helping the Vita rot our brains more effectively while it’s at home. Thanks a heap, you guys.

From the press release:

The Speaker Stand for PS Vita is a powered speaker that doubles as a charging dock. The stereo sound makes it perfect for movies and music, while the line-in jack accommodates iPods and other devices. Its sleek aesthetic matches the Vita, which snaps securely onto the dock and stays charged through the Vita’s own AC adaptor. The Speaker Stand also comes with a keychain-sized remote allowing you to control volume and play back while you kick back and let Vita entertain you.

This Vita de-portablizer may be purchased at Gamestop.
