iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

No, Human

Humans have a distinct nature to want to colonize just about everything they can get their dirty paws on, and that is exactly the premise behind No, Human for the iPhone. Humans have decided they would like to colonize the rest of the universe. The rest of the universe, however, does not appreciate that concept and would much rather the humans left them alone. You control the universe in order to push the humans back where they came from by smashing space rocks and planets on them.

In GameZebo‘s review, they said the game is “charming, playful and fun but it’s also much shorter than they would have liked. If you’re ok with spending $2 on an app that you’ll commit less than an hour too, No, Human is a great puzzle game that will more than impress.”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Price: $1.99.

Space Miner

Taking a page from other ‘drilling’ games on the iPhone, Space Miner has you burrowing into the depths of the Earth to find ‘maguffins’ and level up your ship as you go. Touch to make your ship move around the screen in order for it to dig.

In their review of the game, AppSpy said that while the pixel-art style and chiptune soundtrack were neat to start with, the game lacks any sort of real variety. “The repetitive gameplay, control issues and presentation leave a lot to be desired.”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Price: 99¢.
