Ninja Fishing Casts its Lot with Android Users

Android, Casual, Frisky Misc, iPhone, Mobile

The last time we heard from Ninja Fishing, the ninjas involved were doing some rather non-stealthy boasting about the millions of users they now had, and their efforts to acquire even more. If movies have taught us nothing else, it’s that ninjas rely on overwhelming hordes to attack, which is probably why TriplePoint client Gamenauts is trying to acquire even more ninja fishermen. As of today, the game is now available on Android devices, with a Kindle version on the way. Soon, ninjas will be coming from every angle and platform, so we should probably get a wisecracking action hero to hang out with us. Usually we just need one of those to handle an unlimited number of ninjas.

From the press release:

Android shinobi can now join Otoro, the outrageously overweight ninja, on his quests through the Tranquil Seas and shores of Dinosaur Island in his search for the perfect slice of sushi. Players must skillfully maneuver their hooks around fish and underwater mines by tilting their iOS devices. Once they’ve hooked some fish, Otoro throws them in the air, leading to the ultimate test of sword skill: can players slice the fish while avoiding the dynamite, ending their quest for Gold and sushi?

The newest version of Ninja Fishing makes this challenge even more enticing by challenging players to catch new, rare fish including the Giant Squid, the Megalodon, and the mythical 3 Headed Hydra.

It’s free, too, so you should get on top of that.
