iPad, Mobile

Nickelodeon announced its iPad launch lineup today, that, while only consisting of two apps, will be the first of many Nickelodeon properties released on Apple’s new tablet (which launches tomorrow) in the coming months. Here’s a look at what’s available:

Dora the Explorer Coloring Adventures – Available for $4.99, the app combines a sticker book and coloring book that allows children to color and decorate fun pictures based on the iconic television show. Kids can pick an individual black and white picture, and either decorate it with a wide array of stickers, or simply touch the screen to apply colors.

Daily Jigsaw – Available for $0.99, players will be able to download a new puzzle everyday from Shockwave’s jigsaw community, and put together the pictures while learning new facts about the the puzzle’s theme.

Over the next few months, Nickelodeon will be releasing more iPad games like AddictingGames’ The World’s Hardest Game. We’ll have more information about those future releases as it become available.
