As reported by YoVille Lounge, a new collectible item feature has appeared in YoVille, in the form of chess-piece-shaped shrubs.

The shrubs can be found in the same way that the Valentine’s Day silver, gold, etc. hearts could be found; that is, a pop-up will randomly appear as you play the game, alerting you to your discovery of, say, a Castle Shrub, and you can post this discovery on your wall as a news item.

Afterward, friends can click on the link provided to collect one of the shrubs for use in their own home, backyard and so on. As has been the case with other YoVille items, the scale here is fairly skewed, and the shrubs are actually quite massive, so you might want to hold off on placing them all in your backyard (where applicable) at once unless you want your guests to feel overwhelmed when visiting you.
