New Social City Items: Acropolis & Underhill Home 3

Social, Social City

Playdom has added two new limited edition items to Social City. One continues in the line of Lord of the Rings inspired buildings that we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks, while the other is a nod at Ancient Greece – Athens to be specific.

The first item, the Acropolis really needs no introduction. It’s a large outpost, both in the real world and in the game, taking up a 3×3 square area of land. It can be purchased for 70 City Bucks, and you’ll receive a 40,000 Happiness Point boost if you add one to your land. As of this writing, the item is already fairly limited, being available to less than 5,300 people.

For the other item, the new Underhill Home 3 is appropriately titled, as it is the third in a series of buildings that one would have seen in the Shire in the Lord of the Rings. It is available to purchase for 20 City Bucks, and it gives your town 450 citizens every 6 hours. There are more units of this item available than the Acropolis, as it will be around until more than 11,000 people come to claim one.

Want to get your virtual hands on either item? Head over to the game’s page on Facebook to purchase them before they sell out!
