It’s that time again, when we see a new item being released in the trio of limited edition items being sold by Playdom in the Social City Newspaper. As a reminder, the newspaper appears automatically each time you log into the game, but can also be accessed at any time after that by clicking on the Newspaper icon in the row of icons at the bottom of the gameplay screen.
This new item is the Carousel, and it’s perfect for those users who may want to add more whimsy to their towns, without adding a slew of statues, public pools and the like.
The Carousel is a medium sized structure, taking up a 2×2 area of land, and it costs 48 City Bucks to purchase. If you do so, you can expect to receive a 22,000 Happiness Point boost for purchasing it. This is a bit low, when compared to the much cheaper Mount Rushmore item (which is still available, by the way), which offers 30,000 Happiness Points for just 19 City Bucks.
Either way, if you’d like to pick up the Carousel (or the Mount Rushmore item for that matter), head over to the game’s page on Facebook to start shopping.
