Playdom has added three new limited edition buildings to Social City, with the three options being available to view from within the game’s newspaper (which appears automatically when you log into the game, or can be accessed at any time by clicking on the newspaper icon at the bottom of the gameplay screen).
The three buildings come in the form of a Museum of Rock, Basketball Stadium, and Adobe Home. The Adobe Home is the least expensive of the three, setting you back just 19 City Bucks. It gives 1,000 citizens to your town once daily, and will reward you with 172 experience points upon your purchase.
Meanwhile, the other two items are leisure buildings, with the Museum of Rock costing 39 City Bucks, and the Basketball Stadium costing 65 City Bucks. The Museum of Rock gives off 22,000 Happiness Points to your town, while the Basketball Stadium offers a staggering 45,000. What does this mean for you in the long run? Basically, in terms of the average player, if you invest in one of these properties now, you won’t have to worry about being unable to add new citizens to your town (due to a lack of Happiness Points) for quite some time.
As all three buildings are limited edition, this means that there are limited quantities of all three to go around. At the time of this writing, there are less than 9,000 Basketball Stadiums to go around, while the other two buildings are still available in quantities over 14,000. Still, it might be best to purchase any items that you’re interested in sooner, rather than later, just so you don’t miss your chance at them. Head over to the game’s page if you’d like to purchase one or all of them for use in your city.
