The newest edition of the Restaurant City Times is now available to read upon entering the game. The “newspaper” offers an alert to users that a new recipe has been added to the Drinks section of the menu.

The Pineapple Smoothie is a permanent recipe, meaning that there is no time limit within which you must learn the recipe to keep it, but even if there were a time limit, a few clicks from active friends will have your guests drinking said Pineapple Smoothie within minutes, as all four ingredients to make the smoothie: pineapple, coconut, banana, and mango are now available as free gifts to send to friends.

According to a notice at the bottom of the game’s screen, the pineapple and coconut can only be found via the free gifts section, so it might be a good idea to send multiple units of each to friends so that they may keep them for future use.

The Pineapple Smoothie is just a precursor for this week’s item theme: “Time to Hula,” as more tropical, Hawaiian-themed items will be hitting the game’s store later this week. We can’t wait.
