While we wait patiently (or, perhaps not so patiently) for the arrival of dogs in FarmVille, we can take a moment to appreciate FarmVille’s newest animal, the long eared rabbit.

The long eared rabbit looks almost identical to its shorter-eared relative, so be sure to look closely in the Animals tab of the marketplace to find one, or else you might miss it. If you’d like to have one on your farm, be prepared to pay 12 Farm Cash. You can collect from the rabbit every two days, meaning that you will receive some return on your purchase, but luckily, it doesn’t seem that we’ll be rushed into deciding whether or not to make a purchase, as the rabbit has no time limit associated with it in the store.

Does this mean the long eared rabbit is a permanent addition to the game? It seems to look that way, but if you’re afraid it might expire either way, make sure you head over to the game’s page and pick one up for yourself.
