Casual, Console

In just a few short months, Kinect will be available for gamers everywhere to get their game on, controller-less. We’ve got the most important stories happening right now on Kinect including the new dashboard update set to release with it and a sweet deal from Amazon if you pre-order.

New Dashboard Shown

The Kinect beta has been out for a while now, but this is the first time we’ve seen the new dashboard in action. The new dashboard features new things such as a new boot-up animation when you turn the system on, and a more flat interface that would likely compliment Kinect more than before.

Everything just appears much cleaner, and with more swiftness than before. If you’d like to, take a quick peek at the new hotness below. Be forewarned however, the sound can be obnoxious at times and I recommend turning off Annotations.

New Amazon Kinect Pre-Order Bonus

Now that you’ve seen what the dashboard will look like when it comes out, how about pre-ordering it? Amazon is running a deal right now where pre-ordering Kinect and any other Xbox 360 game and they’ll hook you up with a $30 gaming credit once the products ship.

If you were already interested and planning on picking up Kinect, this is certainly one deal you might want to jump on because it may or may not last much longer. If you’d like to take advantage of this deal, be sure to head over to Kinect’s page on Amazon and be sure to pre-order another Xbox 360 game along with it. Seems like Dance Central or Kinectimals would be good choices. What do you think?
