FarmVille fertilization just got easier – players can now fertilize friends’ crops after they are fully grown, and even before they’ve been planted! (freshly plowed plots, that is).

What the heck am I talking about? Well, in FarmVille, players can fertilize 5 crop plots on their friends’ farm each day.  When you visit a neighboring farm, you will see fertilizer icons on the left-hand side of your screen, which indicate if and how much fertilizer you can use.

Before, players could only fertilize friends’ fully grown crops. This update opens up a whole new level of fertilization capabilities.

New this week in the FarmVille virtual goods marketplace – holiday light arrangements and signs. New luminaries include: Lighted Train (22 Farm Bucks), Lighted Snowflake (7 Bucks), Lighted Bells (15 Bucks), and holiday signs include: Happy Holidays (4,800 Farm Coins), Season Greeting (4,200 Coins).

Also new this week – a new free gift perfect for sending snuggly sentiments to your FarmVille friends – Teddy Bears! There is a white “Whipped Cream” bear available in the free gifts section on Facebook, and a brown “Caramel” bear that is FarmVille.com exclusive.
