According to its developer Booyah, MyTown has now surpassed 2 million users. The social check-in/game application for the iPhone and iPod Touch also released two other interesting data points: One, that the average MyTown players spends one hour a day in the application, and that they are adding 100,000 new users per week.

Additionally, MyTown has received an update that adds new collectible items, 10 new levels, new lists, improved tracking of what your friend’s are doing, and accuracy measures to ensure that players are not cheating.
