With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.
Halfbrick Studios’ latest hit involves playing as Barry Steakfries who wields a shotgun in order to blow any enemy in his path away. The idea and object in Monster Dash is to run to the right as far as possible and jump when needed to. Another option for disposing of foes is to jump on their heads (ala Mario Bros.) and will come in handy in the several different worlds there are to explore.
In their review of the game, Slidetoplay said that Monster Dash is “another hit from Halfbrick” and that fans of casual one-button games should definitely give Monster Dash a try. Now if I could just get the “Monster Mash” song out of my head…

Being a puzzle game that plays much like Lumines (of PSP fame), Puzzle Cosmos is one of the more unique puzzle games on the iPhone. The idea is very simple, however in that it’s your job to make combinations of different colored gems that build from the bottom. Difficulty rises quick, so you must be on your toes at all times to win.
In their review, AppSpy said that it is “more show than substance, but it’s still fun to try your hands at a new style of arcade puzzler and it definitely has enough legs to keep some puzzle fans after a unique challenge busy, at least for a while.”
