iPhone game news is everywhere seemingly these days, whether it’s an announcement of a new title or the announcement of developer’s releasing brand new games. Today, we have the announcement from Gameloft concerning the upcoming sequel to Modern Combat: Sandstorm, Modern Combat 2 and the release of two new titles being published by Chillingo.
In a goofy teaser trailer, we received news that the latest entry in the Modern Combat series from Gameloft will be called Modern Combat 2 and will launch this fall for both the iPhone and iPad. Whether this implies that the game will be universal and work on both is still in question however.
Modern Combat: Sandstorm was a big success on the App Store, so it should definitely not be surprising that a sequel is in the works. More quality games, especially first person shooters, are welcome on the App Store, so this is definitely an exciting announcement for iPhone gamers everywhere. I have included the trailer below so you can check out the silliness for yourself.
Chillingo Launches Zombie Escape for iPhone

In the game, there is a survival mode and a campaign mode with “28 days” to play before finishing. Several locations including Airport, Downtown and Park are available for play, and are all immensely exciting with the plethora of weapons available.
