Microsoft was successfully able to catch some attention with its previous phone marketing campaign for KIN which involved a girl going around the country to find her online social networking friends and meet them in person.
Now, Microsoft is extending the journey to one lucky winner on Facebook. The winner would win a trip to take on their own KIN Journey around the country. To enter, all you have to do is Like the official KIN page on Facebook.
The contest page reads: “We sent a girl named Rosa around the country to visit her social network in person. We want you to be the next to take that journey.” The contest ends today, so I’d be sure to get in there quickly if you want a good shot at taking your own journey.
Mashable takes this as finding the next “face” of the KIN brand and also points out that the whole idea of social network road trips is not new, with several people doing trips of their own last year.
