Triplepoint client Press Play today announced that their title Max & the Magic Marker will be releasing in the US on Nintendo’s WiiWare platform this March.
Max & the Magic Marker, which is already available on both the PC and Mac, is a platformer that follows the title character through an adventure into his own drawings, as he comes into possession of a magic orange marker that brings anything he draws to life. After drawing a monster, the creature begins rampaging through Max’s art, forcing Max to draw himself into his own artwork to stop him.
The game allows users to use their creativity to draw items into the game world and then interact with them accordingly, and takes advantage of the Wii’s motion controls by mapping character movement to the nunchuck and the marker itself to the Wii Remote.
Max & the Magic Marker contains 15 levels filled with numerous monsters, traps and puzzles to overcome, as well as unlockable bonuses and rewards to be found and/or earned as you progress.
There is no exact release date for the game as of this writing, but be sure to check in with the game’s website for more information about the game, or to download the PC or Mac versions now.
