With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.
Much like the game shuffleboard, the objective in Marble Mixer is to simply try and shoot marbles as close to the center of the table as possible without allowing the marble to fall in the hole. With easy controls and a striking presentation, it’s easy to see you and your friends spending hours playing Marble Mixer.
In their review, Theappera said the game “is an interesting concept, that distinctly reminds me of Globetrotters, and has that same type of charm” and that “if you have lots of friends and you love your iPhones, this is definitely for you!” Sounds like a good recommendation to me.
In Slice It!, all you have to do is draw lines on graph paper that separates shapes into equal parts and pieces. If you manage to land the goal, regardless of how you accomplished it, you will continue on to the next level. As to be expected with a game like this, the difficulty does ramp up rather quickly.
In their review of the game, Slidetoplay said “It’s a simple yet rich puzzler that packs a lot of charm” and that “With 60 levels to cut your way though, Slice It gives you plenty of bang for your buck.” Ironic, considering it really does only cost a buck.
