Social, Treasure Isle, Zynga

Yet another building project has launched in Treasure Isle in the form of a Wishing Well, which will give you a chance to win Island Cash, coins or even Mangoes once completed. Before we get to that though, let’s take a look at the new treasure screen revamp, which will have you looking at your treasures in a whole new way.

Collection Feature Revamped; Now Easier to View Treasures

Zynga has updated the Treasures area of the user-interface to be more organized, with treasure collections now separated into themed areas, corresponding to the islands where those treasure sets can be completed. For instance, you can click on the Volcano option, and will then see all of the treasure sets available to complete by exploring and digging for them in the Volcano.

These dividers divide each primary dig location in the game (Tiki, Mayan, Pirate, Monkey and so on), and also include a Special tab for the lone holiday themed collection we’ve seen in the game, that being the Lucky Loot set that honors St. Patrick’s Day.

From these new pages, you’ll be able to see just how many of a particular treasure item you own, along with a new color-coded system that lets you know whether or not you’ve already “vaulted” that collection in the past. That is, previously completed collections will show up in green squares, while those unfinished collections show up as tan.

In addition to this, each collection now comes with a Mastery Level, represented by a number of stars, from 1-4 stars, representing each additional time you’ve completed the collection.

How many treasure sets have you mastered?

Build A Wishing Well, Win Island Cash, Coins and More

Adding yet another building project to what could be a backlog of building projects in the game (depending on your activity level or number of neighbors), Zynga has released the Wishing Well in the game. All users will receive a free Wishing Well base upon logging in, that can either be stored in your backpack or used instantly.

Once used, you’ll see that it launches a building quest similar to those found with the Gem Mine or Relics. The first level of the Well’s construction requires you to collect just 10 items, 2 each of five different ingredients: Bolts, Planks, Rope, Pillars, and Paint. While friends can help you earn these items, if you choose to purchase the ingredients, you can do so in bulk for 7 Island Cash, or unit by unit at a rate of 1 Island Cash per ingredient.

If you do decide to rely on friends, you can click on the Ask for More button associated with any of the five ingredients and post a news item to your wall asking your friends to send you that particular ingredient. As of this writing, each user should have access to sending only three different “Materials,” like those needed for the Wishing Well, so you’ll need to rely on more than one neighbor to get the job done.

Once the Well has been completed, you’ll be able to use it for a chance to earn 100 Island Cash, 1 million coins, an item on your wishlist or even 100 mangoes.

Head over to the game’s page on Facebook to start building your own Wishing Well, and good luck in having your wish come true!
