With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.
Lite-Brite can easily bring back nostalgia for many adults and kids alike, with its pastel colors. Being as simpel as the original was, the thought that an iPhone version could get made is actually pretty remarkable, but also a bit frightening as nothing can really match the real thing.
In their review, Slidetoplay said the game was full of problems, stemming from interface issues that could be confusing for kids and for having a timed mode that doesn’t really add anything to the game. They said, “Lite-Brite feels like a sad attempt to cash in on nostalgia. Previous EA and Hasbro efforts have been excellent, but Lite-Brite is poorly designed from top to bottom. Even for a dollar, we can’t recommend buying it for you or your young ones.”

In this case, Guggle is the name of a bubble and he needs to collect magical orbs that are scattered across the screen in order to escape certain doom. Using tilt controls, you’ll need to maneuver Guggle through dozens of levels, collecting power-ups that make the playing experience a bit easier.
In their review, AppSpy said it “has a lot of potential and when things go right it’s an entertaining game to play, but it’s hard not to get frustrated and that kills the magic faster than a Guggle hitting a spike.”
