Light A Candle For Microsoft’s Kin

Mobile, Social

The Microsoft Kin had a pretty darn short life. For those of you out there (and apparently there were not many of you) that enjoyed the device, a website has been erected for you to pay your respects to the ill-fated social networking focused device.

According to KinRIP.com, (via IntoMobile) the site’s was created “in the memory of our loved one, Microsoft Kin who was born on May 13, 2010 and passed away on June 30, 2010. We will remember her forever.”

For some reason, this seems pretty tongue-in-cheek to me.

Despite that, if you’re so inclined you can “light a candle” and write a note to the Microsoft Kin, telling its smelling, rotting plastic carcass how much you’ll miss it.
