Let’s Take a Look At How The Holiday Weekend Effected App Store Sales

Tue, Jul 6, 2010

As we reported several times, there were all sorts of iPhone app sales over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and I’m willing to bet it made a bit of an impact on sales of certain games. SlidetoPlay organized the top weekend sellers into a neat list and I would like to share it with you. While taking the top spot during a holiday weekend is usually a toss-up, it’s not much of a surprise to see Angry Birds still holding strong.

  1. Angry Birds – $.99
  2. Doodle God – $.99
  3. Pac-Man – $4.99
  4. The Oregon Trail –  $2.99
  5. Doodle Jump – $0.99
  6. Fruit Ninja – $.99
  7. Skee-Ball –  $.99
  8. Potty Racers – $.99
  9. World Series of Poker Hold’em Legend – $.99
  10. Scrabble – $1.99

I guess it’s no surprise that Angry Birds still tops the list considering its crazy addictiveness and insanely cheap price for the value.

Did you buy any games this past weekend because of a sale? If so, which ones?
