FarmVille, Social

FarmVille’s virtual goods marketplace just got a heavy snowfall, full of cold and clever ways to spruce up your farm for the holidays. All that’s missing is ice sculptures and snowcones!

Players have the following chilly new decorations in the marketplace – for a fee of course: Ice Lake (22 Bucks), Snow Angel (12 Bucks), Cow in Snowpile (14 Bucks), Snow Globe (28 Bucks), Dancin’ SnowLady (25 Bucks), Giant Snowflakes (1500 Coins), and an Igloo (16 Bucks) filed under Buildings.

Don’t worry – Zynga didn’t forget Christmas lights either – two new items let you decorate buildings on your farm: Lights Decorator (2 Bucks) or Unlimited Lights (30 Bucks). Bonus: when you hang holiday lights in FarmVille, you don’t even have to worry about high electric bills.

Finally, the last new item is relatively inexpensive (compared to the other cold weather goods), and can be found under Expansions in the Marketplace. Thanks to the new Snow Blanket (1000 Coins), my farm got a winter storm this morning. Also noteworthy – when you’re ready, it will cost you 1000 Coins to return to Green Pastures.

These limited-time items are all available in the FarmVille Marketplace for 23 more days.
