With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. A path-based tower defense game best describes Legends of Elendria: The Frozen Maiden, with its in-depth story and upgradable defense towers being nice additions to an almost tired genre on the iPhone. The story is that you are the ruler of a kingdom that must fend off increasingly aggressive monsters. This translates into levels that get progressively harder as you play along.
In their review of the game, Slidetoplay said that it “doesn’t add anything to the genre that tower defense junkies haven’t seen before” and that you really should wait for something much more unique while there are much better tower defense games like Plants vs Zombies to play.

The object of Splode is to bring light back into this dark, gritty world. Flower buds appear on screen, and it’s up to the spore objects you control in order to pop these buds. Popping a minimum number of spores is required in order for the sun come up and light the level and allow you to move on. Being a game completely based on chance, it can be frustrating at points, so be careful when moving on to the next level.
In their review, GameZebo said that the game is incredibly short, but an enchanting experience overall. “The game has promise, and is definitely worth your time and investment.”
