iPhone, Mobile

Yesterday, Hudson announced the launch of Knight Rider: The Game for iPhone and iPod Touch. The game, which is based on the television show Knight Rider, is a driving based title, that includes one-touch speed and steering control, which should help it appeal to users of any skill level.

There are 15 missions to complete in all, along with an open city that can be explored. You’ll come across vehicle upgrades for K.I.T.T. like oil slicks and turbo boosts, just like those seen in the television series. As you play, you’ll even race around to the Knight Rider theme song, and as you reach certain goals or complete various actions, you’ll unlock classic scenes from the show.

To be clear, this is a game based on the television show, and it has its own storyline – this isn’t a copy and paste of the show’s storyline that you would have scene in the 1980′s. If you watched the show as a kid, or just want to get your hands on this new title, you can pick it up on iTunes for $4.99. KNIGHT RIDER
