Jobs Says iPhone “Might” Come to Another Carrier

iPhone, Mobile

For those of you that don’t count themselves among AT&T’s biggest supporters but still want to grab yourself an iPhone, Steve Jobs just gave you some hope.

According to a New York Times report, Jobs said that “there might be” another carrier in the future for the iPhone.

“The future is long. I can’t talk about that stuff,” Jobs added.

While that in and of itself is fairly non-committal, it is telling that he did not up and deny the possibility. Instead, he opened the door to the possibility, which for those that want to grab an iPhone say–on Verizon (just throwing out a random carrier, of course)–is welcome news.
