Jim Lee Shows Off Impressive Art on Sketchbook Pro for iPad

Wed, Apr 7, 2010

Who said the iPad wasn’t a content creation device? Given the right apps, it certainly has the potential to be a viable content creator and Comic artist Jim Lee has already shown us a bit of its potential with the Sketchbook Pro app.

Lee bought himself and iPad and the Sketchbook Pro app over the weekend and has already churned out some awesome drawings featuring popular comic book characters. Lee posted the images over twitter, adding that the experience was “fun and frustrating at the same time cuz half the time yer going this would be so easy to do by hand or wacom,” but also that he “was digging the primitive feeling of using yer hands.”

So of course, it’s not perfect but he seems to have done something that shines a lot brighter than any stick figure drawing I’ve ever done.
