With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.
Just Half is just as it name implies, a game about cutting things in half. That is, exactly half, because if there is a single portion less than or greater than one half, you will lose lives and eventually the game. As you progress, targets will appear and make it more difficult to make your halves, as the targets can not be touched. GameZebo said that the game ” is a head-scratching good time” and “will have you shaving every pixel until your division is just right. It’s a shame that there’s just one thing to do here, but it is done very well.” Rating: 3.5 out of 5. Price: 99¢.
In what can best be described as Diner Dash: Star Wars Edition, Star Wars: Cantina is a time management game where you play as Nia Adea who runs a Cantina set somewhere in the Star Wars universe. TheAppEra said that the iPhone version lacks “queuing” in that you can stack tasks for Nia to complete in order which is a detriment. As in other time management games, the goals are simple: seat customers, take orders, deliver the orders, bus the tables and clean the dishes. Of course, this also means the action will get frantic quickly. Overall, TheAppEra said that “Star Wars can really offer any game for any genre as proven by this outrageously wild AND fun game!” Price: $2.99.
