With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. A game that’s difficult to describe without being able to show it, Finger Physics: Thumb Wars (TriplePoint client) has an interesting take on how iPhone games are traditionally played. In the “Wonder Glades” mode, you move a tower in order to knock down certain pieces of a puzzle, but also attempting to save other pieces. The other mode, called “Construc ” tor” which is like Topple or Tower Bloxx Deluxe from Digital Chocolate. Slidetoplay said that they “enjoyed the challenge of doing it once, but having to repeat puzzles isn’t exactly what they would call exciting.” If you are interested in Finger Physics, you can download a free trial version or purchase the full version. Rating: 3 out of 4. Price: $1.99.
A very pretty platformer with simple controls and simple goals, Pix’n Love Rush presents a challenge while remaining fun and interesting throughout. You play a pixely character in a pixel world, running and jumping to grab yellow objects while avoiding purple ones and bats. TheAppEra comments: “As simple as it may sound, THIS is the game for all you ADD folks out there. It gets increasingly harder and more addictive as each level passes. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.” Price: 99¢.
