If you’ve checked the Apple Online store within the last few days, you would most likely notice that the iPad shipping dates have been pushed back to April 12th. The assumption is that this means all launch units have completely sold out and they won’t have more to ship until the 12th of April.

Of course, no one really knows how many iPads have been sold although most estimates are right around the half million mark. Either way, if you haven’t pre-ordered your very own already, chances are you will be waiting although Apple retail stores will still have them on launch day on a first come, first serve basis.
