iPad Apps Dropping in Price Like Mad

iPad, Mobile

As MediaBistro has pointed out, the iPad has had some interesting price reductions since the release of the device. Mainly, the app prices are dropping significantly and for some, their is no price now.

Some of the most significant drops are: Magic Piano dropped from $2.99 to 99¢, Glee was also $2.99 and dropped to 99¢ as well. Cocoto Kart HD Online used to be priced at $4.99 and is now simply 99¢; what makes that drop significant and interesting is that it was $4.99 in the morning and 99¢ by dusk.

As the article also points out, RadioMaze, Tilt HD and WeatherBug Elite went from being paid apps to free apps. Of course, they also pointed out that price drops are normal but it still very early in the iPad’s life so to see several significant price drops is important to look at.
