Industry, iPhone, Mobile

The cash has been counted from Wednesday’s Indie Relief efforts, and the grand total for the various recipient charities is $143,872. Primarily raised a dollar at a time via iPhone apps, 141 different developers came together for the fundraiser to donate sales proceeds from their software. Benefiting worthy organizations like Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF, $140K isn’t a bad one-day total for a bunch of big-hearted indies.

To see the generous parties, you can still visit the Indie Relief site and get a list of the participating apps and programs. If you’d still like to get iPhone apps for a good cause, App Relief is still in full swing.

Well done, folks!
