Industry, iPhone, Social

The independent Mac developers’ charity drive is underway today, and it’s a doozy. As of this posting, there are 141 different ways to donate through Indie Relief, across iPhone apps, MacOS software, and even a hardware purchase or two. That’s right, hardware — you can even pick up a USB subwoofer for your desktop Mac, and the proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

Each of the developers and sales has chosen their own charity to receive today’s proceeds, with the list including dozens of worthy causes such as Doctors Without Borders, the DEC, Oxfam, and many more. If there is an app or a Mac program you’ve had your eye on for a long time, there is no better time than today to do something nice for yourself, and for everybody else, while you’re at it. Get on over to Indie Relief, and start browsing for humanity.
