Casual, Puzzle

Yesterday, I-Play announced the launch of Deadtime Stories on the PC. The game is a mystery-adventure title containing the usual elements: mostly hidden objects and small puzzles. The story, however, is what sets the game apart from its counterparts, as it is based on the real-life ghost story of 19th century socialite-turned-serial-killer Delphine LaLaurie.

The game features 26 locations that contain hidden objects and puzzles that see you casting spells and interacting with all manner of paranormal phenomena including spirits. The game is such that you investigate the story of Delphine LaLaurie while also learning the secrets and stories surrounding a voodoo queen named Jessie Bodeen.

Deadtime Stories is now available to download at I-Play’s website. While there, you can choose to download either a free trial to get a better idea of what to expect from the game, or you can pay the regular price of $19.95 to download the full version of the game.
