The game lets you build and command a group of knights across 50 levels against various monsters and obstacles. Taking advantage of the iPad’s multi-touch functionality, you can play through three different “scenes” of each level. The Camp scene allows you to create new knights, while the Combat Development scene sees you setting your units into formation. Finally, the Stage Battle scene sees, as you might expect, your units begin to fight.
There are six different types of knights to create: Defender, Soldier, Assassin, Ranger, Mage and Healer and each has its own special abilities, like shields of advanced fighting techniques.
Knights of the Phantom Castle is now available on iTunes for $9.99.
