Earlier this week, Hudson announced the launch of Military Madness: Nectaris on WiiWare. The game is a port of the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network versions of the game that offers real-time-strategy gameplay with a twist.
Instead of a true square, Nectaris take place on a hexagonal grid, as players tackle missions to defeat the enemy army either by eliminating all of their forces, or simply capturing their base.
The game offers up to four-person multiplayer both locally and online, multiplayer maps that work to balance the gameplay changes seen when playing with multiple players, and a multiplayer-specific Commander Unit type which allows you to spend a certain amount of points to create a strategy before the battle begins, either by upgrading your own units or by disrupting those of your enemy.
Military Madness: Nectaris is now available on WiiWare for 1000 Wii Points.
