Facebook, Social

As we told you last weekend, Playfish’s newest title is Hotel City, and while it didn’t make it’s rumored Monday release, the game is now available to play on Facebook.

The title sees you becoming a hotel entrepreneur, challenged with turning a humble hotel into a sprawling five-star attraction, complete with exercise rooms and restaurants, along with a multitude of customizable guest rooms (each one can be different from the last), cleaning closets and so on.

As you can’t be around to clean up after guests and otherwise maintain your hotel 24 hours a day, the game incorporates a system much like another Playfish title, Restaurant City, in that you can hire your friends to work for you (they work automatically; that is, your friends don’t actually have to do anything, or even play the game) while you are gone.

You can also invite your friends to play the game with you, and visit the hotels of those who are already playing the game, or even send them a free gift. Of course, pop-ups will also allow you to share your progress with your friends via news postings on your wall..

Games.com has posted a video detailing the tutorial portion of the game. Check it out below, or jump straight into the action by heading to the Hotel City Facebook page.
