The preview itself is rather lengthy and goes into detail about Bangkok’s opposing gangs, the Triads and the Yakuza, and describes the update’s new sliding scale that changes the required amount of energy to complete each mission relative to a user’s level. That is, a lower-level player, who simply wouldn’t have the 200+ energy to spend per click on doing missions, now won’t have to.
Like Mafia Wars’ Moscow expansion, you’ll have to choose a side in the conflict, but this time your choices have real ramifications, in that each side has the potential of becoming suspicious or even hostile towards you. Conversely, if you earn their favor, you can become one of their allies, with many levels in between.
