Help Save Gorillas with iGorilla

iPad, iPhone, Mobile

The iGorilla app has an interesting premise, that being to save the gorillas in Africa’s Virunga National Park. Launched by the park itself, the app is designed to follow the lives of gorillas and to stay up to date on the efforts of the park to save gorillas and their surrounding habitat.

iGorilla seems very robust, allowing users to view the different gorilla families and follow them, through various videos and reports available in-app. Virunga Notional Park’s Communication Director said, “this app will really help grow awareness of the mountain gorilla’s plight and the work that our team here in DR Congo is doing.”

The app was developed by a group who has worked closely with the park to make sure it is as robust and accurate as possible. iGorilla is available for just $3.99 on the iTunes App store.
