This isn’t the first time that Heatwave Interactive’s Platinum Life: Web Edition has made its way onto our radar. The game recently launched on Facebook in a beta form, and yesterday, Heatwave announced that it has partnered with PlaySpan to use the company’s “digital goods monetization platform” to add new premium content to the game, that users can purchase with real funds without ever leaving the game’s page.

As Platinum Life: Web Edition follows as user’s rise from the gritty musical underground to worldwide fame, users will be able to purchase premium items like sound equipment, clothing and accessories.

“Platinum Life: Web Edition needed a strong partner for its ecommerce needs,” said Anthony Castoro, Co-Founder & CEO of Heatwave Interactive, via a company press release. “The PlaySpan platform provides all the services and features demanded by our highly experienced team.”

To try Platinum Life: Web Edition for yourself, head over to the game’s page and begin your musical journey.
