Casual

While there are plenty of casual apps on phones and websites alike, sometimes it’s nice to sit down around a table with friend and play a good, old-fashioned board game; something like the Game of Life, perhaps, which just so happens to turn 50 this year.

In celebration of the game’s birthday, Hasbro will be launching a limited edition of the game, complete with a golden spinner, and five new LIFE coins, which add further depth to the game by, according to Media Post News, encouraging “players to have real life discussions” on such topics as “starting a family or embarking on a new career.”

The Game of Life is also available on the iPhone, among other digital outlets, so it will be interesting to see if the golden spinner, or these new LIFE coins are added in some fashion to those versions as well.

The special anniversary edition of the game will be hitting stores this fall.
