Earlier today, Harmonix and MTV Games announced (via a company press release) a partnership with T-Mobile to launch a new contest that will aim to find the best emerging artists, and add their music to the Rock Band Network.

The “T-Mobile Artist-of-the-Month” contest runs from today through April 11, with artists being asked to submit their best MP3 tracks, along with a band picture and biography to the promotion’s website. After the submission period ends, artists will have a chance to find their music professionally authored into Rock Band gameplay and sold in the Rock Band Network Store. Judging will be done by MTV Games music executives.
